When Cliniko is helping practitioners to run their practice, their time is free to focus on treating their patients. Book appointments, take treatment notes, keep financial accounts, generate business performance reports, and so much more! They'll also receive excellent customer support from our friendly team, use a completely carbon neutral system, and we donate a minimum of 2% of all customer subscription fees to charity.

How do you maintain flexibility & balance for your team?

We are a fully remote team, with a completely flexible work schedule. You start and finish when it makes the most sense for you. The expectation is to work only 30 hours a week, but we understand that life sometimes gets busy. We trust our team to get their work done, and trust that if they need time off, they take it. 

We have unlimited leave, and when we say that, we mean it. We encourage that everyone on the team take a minimum of 4 weeks, but there really is no limit to what you can take.

How do you ensure autonomy and plan for the future?

We don't have managers, we almost never have meetings, and there are no time sheets to complete. We're responsible, autonomous, creative, and proactive in doing our best for our customers. We trust our team. 

Everyone on the team is encouraged to work on what they think is best for our customers. Anyone can join calls, chats, or channels about features that we are adding to Cliniko.

How does your company try to hire people from underrepresented groups and improve the diversity of your team?

We have removed any identifiable information from our job applications to remove any biases when reviewing applications; name and email is all we ask for. We also engage with many job boards that are tailored to getting jobs in front of minorities all over the globe!

We recognize that we can diversify the team more, and as such, we have included a statement in all job postings encouraging everyone to apply, no matter their background, or how they identify. 

How do you support your team to grow and improve?

While we don't specifically set aside a budget for this, everyone is encouraged to improve themselves. We believe that personal development is something that is different for each person, and we are open to helping anyone on the team improve with conferences, lessons, tools, or anything else that will help them succeed.
